THE KING ALFRED PLAN (REX-84)

The King Alfred Plan was understood to be a government plan in the 1960s to detain and intern African Americans in the event of a major civil unrest. Rex-84 was a government exercise in the 1980s to test the readiness of the federal government to detain large numbers of American citizens in case of a national emergency.
